The Move Game was developed by Azur Sport SantΓ©, and later upgraded and improved through a European collaboration. It is designed to promote physical activity and pass on key public health messages in a fun, engaging, and inclusive way. The game is based on the World Health Organization (WHO) recommendations for daily physical activity and can be played in schools, communities, or at home.

πŸ•ΉοΈ Two Game Modes – One Game

Choose between two exciting ways to play:

  • The Educational Mode, which combines movement and health-related questions
  • The Active Mode, which develops all the essential physical capacities

Each mode includes 5 colour-coded categories:

Educational gameActive game
Physical ActivityCoordination
NutritionBalance
Healthy LifestyleFlexibility
Mystery BoxMuscle Strength
Active ChallengesCardio

In Educational Mode, each turn begins with a short movement before answering a question or completing a challenge.

In Active Mode, players move through exercises that target a variety of physical skills.

🎲 How to Play

  1. Roll the die and move forward the number of spaces.
  2. Based on the space colour, choose your challenge or question.
  3. If completed or answered correctly, move one extra space!

Gameplay options:

  • Each player can use their own phone
  • Or a facilitator (game master) can lead the game from one phone for the whole group

If there are many players with similar physical activity levels, they can all do the exercises together at each turn. However, only the player whose turn it is should answer the question or complete the challenge.

For larger groups (8+), we recommend playing in pairs or small teams (e.g. 5 teams of 2 players).

πŸ‘ΆπŸ‘©πŸ‘΄ Who Can Play?

The Move Game is suitable for everyone aged 3 to 65+, with adaptable content based on age and ability:

  • Under 7 years
  • 7–11 years
  • 12+ years:
    • Beginner
    • Intermediate
    • Advanced

The game adapts automatically to your selected difficulty.

🏁 How to Win

To win, be the first to land exactly on the final field.

If your dice roll goes too far, move back the extra spaces.

⏱ Short on time? You can skip this rule and finish when someone reaches or passes the last field.
